It’s October, and breast cancer awareness month. Women in Exhibitions UK Chapter welcomes Emma Walker, Health Information Manager at Coppafeel! to host a webinar to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Breast cancer can affect any body. Getting to know your body could save your life.
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.
- Almost 9 in 10 (85%) of women survive breast cancer for 5 years or more.
- Breast cancer survival is improving and has doubled in the past 40 years in the UK due to a combination of improvements in treatment and care, earlier detection through screening and a focus on targets, including fsater diagnosis.
- An estimated 600,000 people are alive in the UK after a diagnosis of breast cancer. This is predicted to rise to 1.2 million in 2030.
Coppafeel!’s mission is to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and correctly by…
- Encouraging you to check your boobs and pecs regularly from a young age.
